  11. The following changes have been made to BBIB-->HRMS in version 4.2

  16. 2)  Shortened first line of description to account for 31 character names.

  18. The following changes have been made to BBIB-->HRMS in version 4.1.1

  23. 2)  Leaving the settings to no prefix and no suffix for file names now no longer automatically adds [CD] prefiix.  That was intentional but I don't remember why I did it.

  25. The following changes have been made to BBIB-->HRMS in version 4.1

  28. 1)  Arizona Macintosh Users Group now has exclusive distribution rights for this application on any medium over 2 megs.  You can continue to distribute it on BBSs but you must have AMUG's permission to distribute it on CD ROM or other large capacity medium.   Please see the enclosed file for details.

  30. 2)  Added option to automatically set up application for the current version of the BBS in a Box.  If you choose this option it will automatically enter all the pathnames for the .db files on the CD.  The settings file for Volume IX is included.   This file is a text file so it can be edited.  The format is the number of paths that are in the file on the first line followed by the full pathname of all the .db files you want processed. Each line should end with a carriage return. (Don't forget that .db files start with a space).

  35. 1) Stupid mistake made it impossible to register BBIB-->HRMS.  One more reason why it shouldn't be necessary.  Wish it wasn't.  This version corrects that mistake.

  38. The following changes have been made to BBIB-->HRMS in version 4.0.

  41. 1)  Changed to reflect changes in file descriptions in Hermes II.

  43. *** As of this release this product hasn't been fully tested with Hermes II.  All looks well on my test BBS but don't have a regular release of Hermes II to do full testing with the CD attached.  Let me know if you run across any problems.

  46. The following changes have been made to BBIB-->HRMS in version 3.0.

  49. 1) Word wrap is now supported.  Descriptions should look just like any other Hermes description.  The only exception is that some of the descriptions in the Second Site directories are longer that what the Hermes format allows.  Word wrapping makes this slightly worse.  As much of these descriptions as possible is converted, however some of the longer ones are cut off.

  51. 2) .db files DO NOT have to be copied to your hard drive first.  This should make it much easier to convert directories. The required disk space is cut in half and as long as you have around 4 megabytes of free space (you will need it eventually) you can process all of the .db files at once.

  53. 3) More options have been added to how directories are named.  You can now chose the prefix and suffix that is added to the name of the directory.  This should make the process of setting up directories much easier.

  55. 4) You can now set the uploader name for the files on the CD to whatever you want.  Second Site does not store the uploader's name so having it be 'AMUG "BBS in a Box"' was arbitrary.

  57. 5) The interface has been improved.  One important part of this was to use a list to store .db files names.  This means multiple files can be processed at one time.  Set it up and go have lunch, it will take awhile.
